O?Meara appointed men?s hockey coach
BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott College Director of Athletics Brian Wylie has announced that Mark O’Meara has been appointed as the new head men’s ice hockey coach effective immediately. O’Meara takes over for \#Dan Haugh\#, who had been behind the bench for the Gulls for the past four seasons. Haugh leaves behind a 44-46-5 overall record during his tenure.

O’Meara comes to Endicott following a 13 year stint as the head coach at MIT. Prior to his decade-plus time with the Engineers, O’Meara coached at the high school level for 11 seasons. O’Meara will bring a deep understanding of the game and he has a history of continuously challenged his players to reach their highest ability.

O’Meara inherits an Endicott team that has qualified for the NECHA postseason in six of its eight club seasons. The Gulls have posted an 86-75-9 overall program record, with their most successful season coming in 2006-07 when the Blue and Green qualified for the ACHA National Tournament.
