BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott freshman catcher Michael Amato (Simsbury, Conn.) has put together a solid start to his 2016 summer league season with the Simsbury SaberCats of the Connecticut Collegiate Baseball League (CCBL).

In six games played so far this summer, Amato is batting .400 with three runs scored, two doubles and two RBI. Amato and the SaberCats, who are 3-4 overall this season, will return to action today against the Manchester Mavericks.
