BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott senior JJ Branch (Milford, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today.
In his only start last week (April 30), Branch scattered three hits and struck out four in a seven-inning, complete game shutout of Wentworth. Branch also set the side down in order four times and retired the first eight batters of the contest. Additionally, with the win, Branch moved into a first place tie with Mike Nich '13 on Endicott's all-time wins list.
Endicott (25-13, 13-3 CCC) will travel to St. Joseph's (Me.) tomorrow for a non-conference matchup against the Monks at 4 p.m.
