CCC WEEKLY RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott junior third baseman Mike Kochiss (Fairfield, Conn.) has earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week honors, as announced by the league office earlier today.

Kochiss posted a .593 batting average – to go along with a .621 on-base percentage and a .963 slugging percentage – in a 6-2 week overall (5-1 CCC) for the Gulls. Kochiss also notched 13 hits, seven runs, one double, three home runs, seven RBI, two walks, and one stolen base.

In game two of Endicott's doubleheader versus Curry (W, 18-6) on April 11, Kochiss hit two home runs in the same inning (third) to highlight his 4-for-5 performance against the Colonels on the day. Kochiss also collected five multi-hit contests in eight games played and only struck out once in 20 at-bats on the week.

Kochiss will enter Tuesday's non-conference game against Framingham State University on a 10-game hitting streak. Endicott (17-9) will host the Rams at North Field at 3:30 p.m.
