BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott freshman corner infielder Chris Seidl (Dracut, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Baseball Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today.
In four starts last week, Seidl posted a .429/.471/.786 slash line (.avg/.obp/.slg) to go along with six hits, three runs scored, one double, a home run, five RBI, two walks, and a stolen base in a 3-1 week for the Gulls. Seidl also hit .500 (3-for-6) with two outs and .333 (1-for-3) with runners in scoring position on the week.
So far this season, Seidl has compiled a .485/.500/.697 slash line, 16 hits, seven runs scored, four doubles, one homer, seven RBI, three stolen bases, and a .986 fielding percentage (68 PO, 3 A, 1 E, 72 TC).
