BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's tennis program has released their 2014 fall schedule. The Gulls are coming off another successful year earning the programs third consecutive Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship while having another impressive showing in the NCAA Tournament earning a First Round victory for the second consecutive year this past Spring.

The Gulls finished the 2013-14 season at 15-4 (7-1) and will look to continue their success into a competitive 2014 season which represents a 14 match schedule with six non-conference competitions.

Endicott will see action first on August 29th and 30th as they travel to non-conference opponents Colby-Sawyer and Wellesley. Endicott faced the pair last season in the opening weekend of the schedule and defeated the Chargers 8-1 while falling to a tough Wellesley squad 9-0 who finished the season ranked #28 in the nation by the ITA and #10 in the Northeast Region Rankings.

The Blue and Green will then host four home matches featuring three conference opponents along with NEWMAC foe, Babson. For the squads home opener at the South Campus Courts Endicott will host Roger Williams on September 6th whom the Gulls defeated twice last season in the regular season in a tough 5-4 battle and in the CCC Semifinals in a 5-1 triumph.

Three days later the Gulls will host conference rivals, Nichols on the 9th, Endicott split with the Bison last fall in a 5-4 loss in the regular season which forced the Blue and Green for a CCC Championship in Dudley where the Gulls avenged their loss and took the programs third consecutive title in a 5-1 decision.

To wrap up the home match stretch Endicott will face Babson on the 11th and Western New England on the 13th. Endicott fell to Beavers in a tough 7-2 battle in their last meeting while they defeated the Golden Bears in a solid 9-0 victory.

The Blue and Green will then hit the road for three straight games in one week. On September 17th the team will travel to cross-town rivals Gordon, whom the Gulls defeated in an 8-1 decision last season. The following day Endicott will then travel across the bridge to Salem State for a second straight North Shore Cup matchup. Last season the Gulls defeated the Vikings 8-1, earning two victories against Salem State and the Fighting Scots will give Endicott two tallies in the win column for the North Shore Cup competition.

To wrap up the week on October 20th the Gulls will travel to Boston to face Wentworth in a CCC matchup, last season the Gulls took the Leopards 9-0. The following week the Blue and Green will face non-conference opponent Emerson on the 25th and CCC contender Eastern Nazarene on the 27th. Endicott was slated to compete with Emmanuel last season but was cancelled due to weather, the pairs last meeting in 2012 brought a 5-4 victory for Endicott.

To wrap up the regular season in the first week of October the Gulls will hit the road again for games on the 1st, 3rd and 4th against Salve Regina, Brandeis and Curry. Endicott defeated both the Seahawks and the Lions in 9-0 victories last fall and will look to face Brandeis for the first time in program history. The Judges finished the 2013-14 season ranked #9 in the Northeast Region and #23 in the nation by the ITA.

Endicott will look forward for the CCC Tournament which will start on November 7th for the Quarterfinal Rounds with the Semifinals set for November 9th and the Championship booked for November 11th.
