Women's Volleyball Falls To Springfield, 3-0

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's volleyball team fell to Springfield, 3-0, by scores of 19-25, 16-25, and 17-25 on Wednesday night inside MacDonald Gymnasium.

Julia Giroux (Bedford, N.H.) led the team with 13 kills, while Krystina Schueler (Trumbull, Conn.) added six putaways.

Savannah Cambell (Sequel, Calif.) also recorded 20 assists, two kills, two digs, one service ace, and one block assist. 

Hadley Helenbrook (Atlanta, Ga.) chipped in with five kills, two service aces, and six digs, while Emma Ruel (Duxbury, Mass.) had a team-high 12 digs to go with three assists and two service aces.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is now 3-13 in the all-time series against Springfield dating back to 2002.
  • Giroux posted a season-best .345 hitting percentage with .345.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (3-3) hosts Curry and No. 18 Wesleyan (Conn.) on Saturday at 11 AM and 1:30 PM. Springfield (6-2) travels to Union College for the Union/Russell Sage Crosstown Challenge.
