BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's volleyball team opens up its 2023 season on the road against WPI on Friday, September 1 at 6 PM. Here's a preview of the Gulls' upcoming season.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Endicott enters the season as the top-ranked team in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), per the league's preseason poll
- The Gulls will look to capture their fourth straight CCC Championship this fall
- Krystina Schueler (Trumbull, Conn.), who received All-CCC Third Team honors and American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Region 2 Honorable Mention accolades last season, returns to the squad as a graduate student
- In addition, All-CCC Second Team honoree Emma Ruel (Duxbury, Mass.) will anchor the defense for the Gulls
- Endicott faces 10 teams that participated in the 2022 NCAA Tournament and five teams ranked in the 2023 AVCA Preseason Poll
