D’Angelo, Del Maestro Claim USTFCCCA All-Region Honors

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott student-athletes Nicole D'Angelo (Readfield, Maine) and Bianca Del Maestro (Malden, Mass.) have earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region honors.

D'Angelo received All-Region accolades in the shot put and heptathlon, while Del Maestro claimed All-Region honors in the 100m hurdles.

D'Angelo and Del Maestro are the first outdoors All-Region award winners in program history.


NICOLE D'ANGELO | SR. | MULTIS

D'Angelo finished the 2023 outdoor season ranked No. 3 in the East Region in the heptathlon (3,744 points) and No. 5 in the shot put (40-9.75).

She also ranked inside the top-35 in the 100m hurdles (No. 17, 16.08), pole vault (No. 12, 10-0), discus (No. 25, 109-4), and javelin (33rd, 95-2).

This is D'Angelo's sixth postseason honor for the outdoor season (2023 CCC Field Athlete of the Year, 3x All-CCC selection).


BIANCA DEL MAESTRO | GR. | HURDLES

Del Maestro concluded the outdoor season ranked No. 2 in the East Region in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.35-seconds.

She won the 100m hurdles at the CCC Championship with a meet record time of 15.16-seconds.

Del Maestro became the first hurdler in conference history to win CCC Track Athlete of the Year honors after posting three All-CCC selections at the conference championship meet.

Nationally, Del Maestro ranks No. 25 overall in the 100m hurdles.

This is Del Maestro's fifth postseason honor for the outdoor season (2023 CCC Track Athlete of the Year, 3x All-CCC selection).

Also of note, Del Maestro is the first student-athlete in program history to earn USTFCCCA All-Region accolades after claiming the honor during the indoor season.
