D3 NEW ENGLANDS: Gulls Make History On Day Two

BRIGHTON, Mass. – The Endicott women's track and field team scored points in a track event for the first time in program history at the NCAA Division III New England Championships on Saturday evening to conclude the two-day meet at the TRACK at new balance.

Bianca Del Maestro (Malden, Mass.) finished fifth overall in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.09-seconds to score four points for the Gulls and cap her fantastic indoor season.

Endicott's 4x400-meter relay consisting of Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.), Allie Devoe (Ridgefield, Conn.), Brianna am Ende (East Lyme, Conn.), and Riley Rischitelli (North Brookfield, Mass.) placed 17th overall in a school record time of 4:19.68.

The previous mark was 4:22.80 set on 2/24/2023. Rischitelli and am Ende also ran legs on the previous school record 4x400-meter relay team.

Nicole D'Angelo (Readfield, Maine) concluded the list of highlights for the Gulls in the shot put with a toss of 36-feet and 5.75-inches, good enough for 10th place overall out of 22 competitors.

Endicott begins its outdoor season on Saturday, March 25 at the Elmer Swanson Classic, hosted by Wesleyan University.
