Del Maestro Headlines Gulls In Season Opener At Boston University 

BOSTON, Mass. — Endicott graduate student Bianca Del Maestro (Malden, Mass.) qualified for the NCAA DIII New England Championship in the 60-meter hurdles on Saturday evening at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Invitational, hosted by Boston University.

Del Maestro ran a time of 9.53-seconds in the event to break her previous school record of 9.84, which was set on February 11, 2022, also on the same track.

Del Maestro finished 11th overall among the field, and ahead of several NCAA Division I student-athletes in the process.

Meanwhile, Nicole D'Angelo (Readfield, Maine) ranked sixth in the shot put with a toss of 35-feet and 10.75-inches.

Riley Rischitelli (North Brookfield, Mass.) rounded out the list of competitors for the Gulls with an 18th place finish in the 200-meter dash (28.49).

Endicott will compete in the Hampshire College Black Sheep Invitational on Saturday, February 11, hosted at the TRACK at new balance.
