Gulls Produce Several Strong Performances At Wheaton Pre-Post Invitational

NORTON, Mass. — The Endicott women's track and field team compiled 14 top-10 finishes and broke two school records at the Wheaton (Mass.) Pre-Post Invitational on Saturday evening at the Beard Field House.

Brianna am Ende (East Lyme, Conn.) took down the 1,000-meter run school record by nearly three seconds to finish third overall in the event. She crossed the finish line in 3:22.50, besting the previous mark of 3:25.35 set by Laura Pomeroy '20 (Windham, N.H.) on February 9, 2018.

For the second straight week, Bianca Del Maestro (Malden, Mass.) turned in a school record performance in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.21-seconds, good enough for overall out of 22 competitors.

Nicole D'Angelo (Readfield, Maine) also compiled top-10 finishes in the shot put (1st, 38-0.25), pole vault (2nd, 9-0.25), and the long jump (8th, 14-10.50).

ADDITIONAL ENDICOTT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Gates MacPherson (Thorold, Ontario) and Taylor Moynihan (Hingham, Mass.) both set personal records (PR) in the shot put (McPherson, 6th, 33-2.50 | Moynihan, 18th, 29-10.25).
  • The 4x200-meter relay team of Riley Rischitelli (North Brookfield, Mass.), Nicole Woo (Newton, Mass.), Jordan Williams (Boxford, Mass.), and Kinneal Dickens (Merrimac, Mass.) finished third overall with a time of 1:54.41.
  • Rischitelli also finished 18th overall in the 200-meter run (28.91), while Woo notched a PR in 29.06.
  • The 4x400-meter relay team of am Ende, Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.), Allie Devoe (Ridgefield, Conn.), and Rischitelli ranked fourth overall in 4:28.02.
  • Risko turned in a seventh place performance in the 800-meter run (2:36.11).
  • Julia Adrian (Noank, Conn.) was Endicott's top finisher in the 3,000-meter run (20th, 12:03.05).
  • Logan Baxter (Coventry, R.I.) ranked fifth in the pole vault (8-6.25) and 10th in the triple jump (30-9.25).
  • Katie Ritzer (Dover, Mass.) came in fourth (tied) in the high jump (4-7.50).
  • Sarah Aylwin (Topsfield, Mass.) turned in a seventh place finish in the long jump (15-6.75).
  • Devoe placed eighth in the mile (5:55.93).
  • D'Angelo was 15th in the 60-meter dash (8.57), while Deanna Dukas (Woburn, Mass.) notched a PR with a time of 8.74-seconds (23rd).

Endicott returns to action at the NCAA Division III New England Championships next weekend (Feb. 24-25) at the TRACK at new balance in Boston.
