Women’s Tennis Earns ITA Academic Awards

ITA ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM LIST | ITA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE LIST

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's tennis team received its eighth straight Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team Award for its efforts in the classroom during the 2020-21 academic year.

Additionally, Angelina Ciardi (New Fairfield, Conn.), Kaitlin Fitzgibbons (Nashua, N.H.), Cameron Foley (Lynnfield, Mass.), Gretta Hartman (Glastonbury, Conn.), Justine Hoover (Wallingford, Conn.), Ashley Keaveney (Exeter, N.H.), Isabela Miani (Southington, Conn.), Clare O'Keefe (Lutz, Fla.), and Jennifer Stone (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) all claimed ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.

To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements:

  • have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale),
  • all student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and
  • all varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year

To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements:

  • have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year
  • be listed on the institutional eligibility form
