BIDDEFORD, Maine – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) is pleased to announce the "Women in Sports" panel as the fourth installment of its Student-Athlete Development Series.
The program, which will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m., will feature a discussion with four former CCC student-athletes who have extended their love for athletics into their professional lives.
The 90-minute conversation will be moderated by Lauren Brill, an Emmy-nominated and AP-award-winning sports journalist who has used her story-telling abilities to start her own business called The Unsealed (https://theunsealed.com/) which "encourages people to see the world through diverse perspectives, creating more compassion and unity among us."
The panelists include:
- Alexandra Barmore '19 (Southington, Conn.) – A four-year member of Endicott's tennis team who now works at Yale as the Chief of Staff and Director of Operations for the football team. While in school, was part of the 2015 CCC Tournament Championship team and served as team captain during her senior year. She attended the 2019 NFL Women's Careers in Football Forum and also interned with the Indianapolis Colts.
- Tricia Breault (Western New England '11) – A two-sport athlete for WNE competing in softball and basketball who is currently the Equipment Director at the University of California, Berkeley. In the CCC, she made her presence known on the diamond. She was a four-time All-Conference honoree and won the 2008 CCC Rookie of the Year award.
- Amanda (Rodgerson) Devitt (University of New England '02) – A dominant force on the court for the Nor'easter basketball team who now serves as the Director of Athletics at the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.). The 2010 UNE Hall of Fame inductee claimed a CCC Tournament Championship in 2000-01 and earned CCC Player of the Year honors in 2001-02. Devitt was also a coach in the league, leading Wentworth for six seasons.
- Anna Dyakiv (Nichols '14) – A former tennis standout and 2019 Nichols Hall of Fame inductee who currently works as the Sr. VIP Member Experience Executive with the Boston Celtics. During her time in the conference, she was the 2010 Rookie of the Year, a three-time CCC Player of the Year (2010, '11, '12), and the 2013 CCC Senior Scholar-Athlete. She was also a CCC Champion, leading the Bison to the 2010 Tournament title.
- Kaylyn Smith (Western New England '10) – A four-year member of the Western New England basketball team who is now employed by Wheaton as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Facilities & Operations. She also played field hockey for one season. Prior to working at Wheaton, Smith worked in the CCC conference office as the Assistant Commissioner/SWA.
The panel is open for everyone to attend, but space is limited. If necessary, CCC student-athletes will be given priority attendance. However, the panel will be recorded and available to everyone following the event.

The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), founded in 1984, is an NCAA Division III athletic conference comprised of 10 full-member and two associate member institutions throughout the New England region. Its membership aims to provide student-athletes with a positive experience in their pursuit of excellence through high academic standards, quality competition, and a meaningful student life. The conference administers championships in 19 intercollegiate sports.
