BEVERLY, Mass. - The Endicott women's tennis team (7-0, 5-0 CCC) is set to host Gordon (5-3, 4-1 CCC) in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament on Wednesday at Manchester Athletic Club, at 7 PM. Here's a preview of the semifinal round matchup.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Endicott is 2-0 this season against Gordon, defeating the Fighting Scots, 5-4, on March 27 and, 8-1, on April 15.
- The Gulls come into the match on a seven-match winning streak, while Gordon comes into tonight's contest on a two-match winning streak.
- Endicott is looking to make its 10th straight appearance in the CCC Championship.
- This is the second time in the last three seasons that Gordon and Endicott will face off in the CCC Semifinals. The Gulls won the last meeting, 5-0.
- As a team, Endicott has only dropped five individual matches and has won 58.
WHAT'S NEXT
The winner of Wednesday's semifinal contest will face the winner of the other CCC Semifinal between Roger Williams and Nichols in the CCC Championship on Saturday, May 8 at a time and location to be determined later.
