Women's Tennis Falls To Babson, 9-0

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's tennis team fell to Babson College, 9-0 on Sunday afternoon at the South Campus Courts. 

In doubles play, Babson jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead with an 8-0 shutout at No. 1 an 8-3 triumph at No. 2 and an 8-1 victory at No. 3.

Meanwhile, in singles action junior Gretta Hartman (Glastonbury Conn.) fell 6-2, 7-5 in a hard-fought match at No. 2.

"Today was good to get the competitive juices flowing again," said Endicott women's tennis head coach Anthony D'Angelo. "Babson started off hot and forced us to adjust after doubles." 

WHAT'S NEXT 

Endicott (11-5) will travel to Brandeis on Friday, March 13 for a 3 PM contest. Babson (2-1) will travel to Whittier California to take on Whittier on Sunday, March 15.
