Rachel Hanna (Left) and head coach Jodi Kenyon (Right) were named CCC Offensive Player of the Year and Co-Coach of the Year, respectively.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Rachel Hanna (Chelmsford, Mass.) was named Offensive Player of the Year and head coach Jodi Kenyon was named Co-Coach of the Year as the Endicott women's soccer team received eight total honors from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), as announced by the Office of the Commissioner. Following the regular season that saw Endicott post a 12-4-1 record overall and an undefeated record of 8-0-1 in CCC play, Endicott saw three women receive First Team honors, two receive Second Team nods, and one on the Third Team.

In addition to her CCC Offensive Player of the Year honor, Rachel Hanna was named to the All-CCC First Team, along with midfielder Mary Verneris (Hamden, Conn.), and defender Paige Pratt (Topsfield, Mass.). On the All-CCC Second team was midfielder Sharlotte Pernice (West Springfield, Mass.) and goalkeeper Shelby Elwell (Litchfield, Conn.). Rounding out the honors with her All-CCC Third Team nod was defender Marissa Carlson (Bristol, Conn.)

RACHEL HANNA | FORWARD | SENIOR | CHELMSFORD, MASS.

Hanna's honors come during a year in which she posted career-bests across the board, including 35 points, 14 goals and seven assists. Three of her goals were game-winners (Wellesley, Eastern Nazarene and Babson), while she also assisted on three other game-winning goals. The forward posted multi-goal games three times this season while recording multiple points in 11 of her 17 games played. Her 35 point season currently sits just outside the top 10 in Endicott's all-time record books. This was Hanna's second All-CCC nod as she received Second Team honors in 2016.

MARY VERNERIS | MIDFIELD | JUNIOR | HAMDEN, CONN.

Verneris, a junior, has enjoyed her best season in an Endicott uniform. The Hamden, Conn. native has over doubled her previous career-bests in goals and points with 11 and 23, respectively. Her 11 goals and 23 points topped her mark of five and 11 that she posted as a sophomore. In 2017, the midfielder posted two game-winners (Nichols and Wentworth) while she also scored two goals on three separate occasions. Verneris has registered at least one point in nine of her 17 matches played in 2017. This is the first All-CCC nod of Verneris' career.

PAIGE PRATT | BACK | SENIOR | TOPSFIELD, MASS.

As part of a defensive unit that has allowed just 13 goals in 17 matches, for an average of 0.76 goals against per contest, Pratt thrived in 2017, starting all 14 contests in which she played. With the co-captain leading the way, Endicott's defense allowed just 85 shots on goal all season, and 188 shots total, compared to Endicott's 160 shots on goal and 312 total shots. As a back, Pratt has still managed to be a vital part of the Endicott offense, posting a career-best four assists to date. This was Pratt's second career All-CCC nod as she was named to the Second Team in 2016.

SHARLOTTE PERNICE | MIDFIELD | JUNIOR | WEST SPRINGFIELD, MASS.

One of the most dynamic two-way players in the CCC, Pernice received Second Team honors in 2017. The midfielder currently sits third on the team with 12 points as she has scored five goals and collected two assists thus far on the season. Of her five goals on the season, two have been game winners (Gordon, Eastern Conn.). Pernice has tallied at least one point in six of 17 matches played in 2017, including a season-high four with her two goal effort in the win over Salem St. This was the third All-CCC nod of Pernice's career as she was named to the First Team as a sophomore, and Third Team as a freshman.

SHELBY ELWELL | GOALKEEPER | SENIOR | LITCHFIELD, CONN.

2017 has seen Elwell post career-best numbers across the board as she was named the starter for the first time in her career. Elwell has been instrumental in keeping opponents at bay, posting a personal record of 10-2-1 overall, including five shutouts. With a goals-against-average of 0.85 on the entire season, the senior was even more impressive in CCC play, posting a 0.46 goals-against-average, with all of her five shutouts coming against conference foes. In arguably her best performance of the season, the keeper made six saves in a 0-0 2OT draw against CCC foe Roger Williams. This is the first All-CCC nod of Elwell's career.

MARISSA CARLSON | BACK | SENIOR | BRISTOL, CONN.

Carlson, a senior back, played a pivotal role for the Gulls on the back line that has allowed just 13 goals in 17 matches, for an average of 0.76 goals against per contest. One of just three members to start in all 17 matches on the season, Carlson was a steadying force that allowed a conference-best four goals against in CCC play all year. The Bristol, Conn. native helped the Endicott defense to post six shutouts against CCC opponents, best among all conference teams, and seven overall. This is Carlson's second All-CCC nod for her career as she was named to the First Team as a junior.
