Wysocki and Joseph Garner Weekly CCC Honors Following 2-1 OT Win Over Curry

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Following standout efforts in a 2-1 overtime win in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Quarterfinals over the eighth seeded Curry, the top seeded Gulls saw Laura Wysocki (Somers, Conn.) and Jessica Joseph (Bedford, N.H.) receive weekly CCC honors after each picked up two points in the win.  Wysocki, Joseph and the rest of the team square off against fifth seed Wentworth on Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Wysocki, who was named CCC Offensive Player of the Week, has now received the honors twice this season, with the first coming back in late September.  The sophomore forward, who was recently named All-CCC Honorable Mention, notched her team leading seventh goal of the season in overtime to give Endicott the 2-1 win.  It was the third game winner of the season for Wysocki and also her 15th point which is tied for the team lead.

Joseph, who was named CCC Rookie of the Week, has now received the honors for two consecutive weeks.  The freshman was also named to the All-CCC First Team last week following a regular season in which she scored six goals which tied for the regular season team lead.  It wasn't her scoring that made the impact against Curry however as the forward registered assists on both of the Endicott goals.  Joseph's first assist of the day came in the 77th minute as she found Audrey Parolin (Cumberland, Maine) on the right wing.  Parolin fired an arcing shot on net that would beat the keeper to score the equalizer and knot the match at 1-1.  Joseph's second assist came as she fed a through-ball perfectly to CCC Offensive Player of the Week Laura Wysocki who tallied the game winner in overtime.

The Gulls, now 14-5-1, will host the No. 5 seeded Wentworth Leopards in a semifinal matchup at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
