Wysocki and Donnelly Receive CCC Recognition After 2-0 Week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.-  After a 2-0 week that saw the Gulls outscore their competition 5-2 and knock off the previously unbeaten and nationally ranked #13 Roger Williams, forward Laura Wysocki (Somers, Conn.) and Katie Donnelly (Madison, Conn.) received Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) honors on Monday.

Wysocki, a sophomore, scored her first two career goals against Roger Williams on Saturday and received CCC Offensive Player of the Week.  Wysocki's first goal, in the 64th minute, came after she possessed the ball deep into the box and chipped it past the keeper.  Her second goal, in the second overtime, saw her jump in the air to put the ball on frame as it eventually crossed the line to give the Gulls their first win over Roger Williams in the last six meetings.  This is Wysocki's first CCC honor.

Junior goalkeeper Katie Donnelly received Defensive Player of the Week honors after recording a 2-0 record on the week while making eight saves in the two matches.  In the 3-1 win over Wellesley, Donnelly made two saves before following it up with a six save performance to preserve the vitctory for the Gulls against RWU.  This is the second straight week Donnelly has been named CCC Defensiev Player of the Week.

Endicott returns to action tomorrow night when they host Babson at 4:30 p.m. before hostingWentworth in CCC action on Saturday at noon.
