Brett, Bortolotti earn conference recognition after perfect week
Springfield, Mass. – Senior pitcher Jenna Bortolotti (Milton, Mass.) has been named The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) pitcher of the week after going 3-0 in the circle. Freshman Mattie Brett (Waterfrod, Conn.) earned rookie of the week honors after helping guide the Blue and Green to a 6-0 weekly record.

Bortolotti logged 19 innings of work, posting an ERA of 1.11 while allowing 14 hits and just three earned runs. She opened the week with a complete game victory over conference-foe Salve Regina before tossing a complete game five-hitter in a 7-2 win over Babson. On Sunday, Bortolotti capped the week with a complete game shutout of New England College to move the Gulls’ conference record to 17-1.

Brett earns TCCC rookie of the week honors for the second time this season. The freshman shortstop hit a solid .526 (10-for-19), including three doubles, and two home runs. She crossed the plate six times and collected 12 RBI to help Endicott improve to 25-5 on the season.
