NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Endicott men's soccer team lost to Connecticut College, 1-0, on Tuesday evening at Jean C. Tempel Field.
The lone goal of the game was scored by Jake Creus (Rye, N.Y) at the 42:27 mark via a feed from Augie Djerdjaj (Mahopac, N.Y.).
From there, both teams tightened up defensively as the second half only featured one shot on goal (Conn. College, 61:37).
Zach Regulbuto (Somers, Conn.) compiled five saves in goal (1-2-1 overall on the season) to highlight the Gulls.
BEYOND THE BOX
- Conn. College is receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches national poll.
- The Camels have won three matches in a row (1-0 at home).
- Regulbuto has 16 saves on the year (sixth in the CCC).
