NEWPORT, R.I. – The Endicott men's basketball team lost to Salve Regina, 72-64, in conference action on Saturday evening at the Rodgers Recreation Center.
Cameron Ray (Lowell, Mass.) paced the Gulls offensively with a team-high 17 points.
Jalen Echevarria (Lynn, Mass.) and Stephen Fama (Lynnfield, Mass.) also contributed 15-6 and 10-8, respectively.
Meanwhile, Billy Arseneault (Lynnfield, Mass.) rounded out the list of individual highlights with eight points, seven rebounds, and five assists.
Down 62-55 with 5:52 remaining in the second half, Endicott orchestrated a 7-0 run to knot the game up at 62-all with 3:40 to play.
The Seahawks responded to the Gulls' run, however, with back-to-back three-pointers over a 1:58 span (2:55, 65-62 | :57, 68-62) before closing out the victory at the free throw line (4-6).
