Men’s Basketball Falls To Western New England, 98-90

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — The Endicott men's basketball team lost to Western New England, 98-90, in conference action on Wednesday night.

Billy Arseneault (Lynnfield, Mass.) and Jalen Echevarria (Lynn, Mass.) highlighted the Gulls as the duo registered career-highs in points with 35 and 29, respectively.

Arseneault went 16-for-23 from the field (3-7 FT), while Echevarria's stat line featured efficient numbers from beyond the arc (6-8) and the free throw line (9-11, 7-16 FG).

Cameron Ray (Lowell, Mass.) also contributed 10 points and Spencer Aronson (Holliston, Mass.) had nine off the bench.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Tonight's game featured 18 lead changes and nine ties.
  • Western New England led by as many as 15 points with 10:48 remaining in the second half (69-54, tied 40-40 at the half).
  • Arseneault's 16 made field goals rank third all-time in program history.
  • The Golden Bears improved to 8-3 at home.
