Makris earns second straight CCC Rookie of the Week honors

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Endicott freshman forward Andre Makris (Southbury, Conn.) was handed the CCC Rookie of the Week honors for the second week in-a-row as the Gulls earned a 82-60 victory over Green Mountain College last Tuesday night.

Makris, who has averaged a team-best 18.3 points and 8.3 rebounds through four games this season, dropped 17 and 10 on the Eagles with three blocks as the Blue and Green won their third straight game to improve to 3-1 on the season.

Makris was 7-of-13 from the floor and 3-of-4 from the charity stripe to lead all players. Four of his 10 rebounds were on the offensive glass.

Endicott returns to the court with two crucial CCC games this week as the Gulls will travel to defending conference champions Salve Regina on Wednesday, November 30^th for an 8:00 pm game before hosting Roger Williams on Saturday, December 3^rd at 3:00 pm at MacDonald Gymnasium.
