DUDLEY, Mass. – The Endicott men's basketball saw their three-game win-streak snapped following a 93-83 loss to Nichols in CCC action.   The Gulls (7-4, 2-2 CCC) now look forward to a rematch of last year's conference semifinals when they host Wentworth on Thursday, January 12th at 8:00 pm.

Gulls junior guard Lance Greene (Dorchester, Mass.) led all scorers with 19 points and dished out eight assists and senior center Erik Callo (Southington, Conn.) recorded a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards in the loss for the visitors.

The Bison had five players score in double figures including Sam Horning (Falmouth, Maine) and Joe Gallant (Salem, N.H.) who came off the bench to each tally 14 points.  Horning was especially effective outside the three-point line, hitting 4-of-6 attempts from long range.  Both players were factors on the glass as Horning snatched seven boards and Gallant grabbed six.  Nichols outrebounded Endicott 40 to 26 in the game.

Nichols' leading scorer was forward Ryan Sheehan (North Attleboro, Mass.), who 17 points on 5-of-14 shooting include 2-of-4 from three-point range and a perfect 5-of-5 from the free throw line.

Endicott's Lachlan Magee (Melbourne, Australia) and Bennett Knowlton (Shrewsbury, Mass.) chipped in offensively with 14 and 10 points, respectively.  For Knowlton, it was his second straight game with at least 10 points after netting a season-high 18 points last Saturday against Western New England

Endicott trailed 43-37 at the half and pulled to within two points at 43-41 at the start of the second, but Nichols rattled off a 12-0 run to take a commanding lead.  The Gull struggled cut into Nichols deficit, never getting closer than eight points for the remainder of the game.

The Gulls converted 19-of-22 attempts from the free throw line and shot 46.0% as a team from the floor but Endicott could not overcome strong three-point shooting (11-of-21) by the Bison.
