BEVERLY, Mass. - The Endicott field hockey team saw three student-athletes named to the Synapse Sports Division III All-American Teams, as announced by Synapse Sports on Tuesday. Rookie Sydney Poulin (Watertown, Mass.) was named Rookie of the Year, to the All-America Third Team, and to the All-Rookie Team. Kristen McCarthy (Danvers, Mass.) picked up an All-America Second Team honor and Addi Williams (Pittsfield, Maine) earned a spot on the All-Rookie Team.

Poulin made a huge impact in the midfield for the Gulls during her rookie campaign, which saw her named CCC Rookie of the Year, to the All-CCC First Team, and to the Longstreth/NFHCA Division III New England East Region First Team. She recorded 10 goals and 11 assists for 31 points on the season.

McCarthy had an impressive season for the Gulls as she notched a team-leading 29 goals, 17 assists, and 75 points. Her goal, assist, and point totals all set new single-season program records. McCarthy was also named CCC Co-Offensive Player of the Year and to the All-CCC First Team, the Longstreth/NFHCA Division III New England East Region First Team, and the Longstreth/NFHCA Division III All-American First Team for her efforts. Nationally, McCarthy finished the season third in points per game (3.26) and seventh in goals per game (1.26).

Williams completed her rookie year with 24 goals and three assists for 51 points. She is now third in the program history books in single-season goals and also finished the year 24th nationally in goals per game (1.04). Williams also earned a spot on the All-CCC Second Team and the Longstreth/NFHCA Division III New England East Region Second Team for her efforts on the field.

Endicott (18-5, 12-0 CCC) finished the 2018 season in a historic way as the Gulls went undefeated in conference play, captured the CCC Championship title for the first time since 2012, and posted the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament victory with a 3-1 win over Saint Joseph's of Maine.
