BEVERLY, Mass. - The Endicott field hockey team came away with a 7-0 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) victory over Roger Williams on Wednesday evening at North Field.
Jaylin Grabau (Lynnfield, Mass.) and Addi Williams (Pittsfield, Maine.) led the way for the Gulls offensively, with two goals apiece.
Lauren Whitney (Poway, Calif), Anna Battista (Kingston, Mass.), and Kristen McCarthy (Danvers, Mass.) added the other three goals for Endicott to secure the 7-0 win.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The Gulls now lead the all-time series with the Hawks, 11-1.
- Allison Wales (Southport, Conn.) started in goal and earned her first collegiate victory.
- Battista's goal was the first of her career.
- McCarthy led the Gulls in shots with 12.
- Williams also added two assists throughout the contest.
- Callie Flanagan (Wenham, Mass.) recorded 14 saves for the Hawks.
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott (11-3, 8-0 CCC) hosts Western New England for a CCC contest on Saturday, October 13 at 1 PM. Roger Williams (6-7, 3-4 CCC) will travel to UNE for a conference matchup on Saturday, October 13 at 12 PM.
