CCC ATHLETES OF THE WEEK RELEASE
BEVERLY, Mass.- The Endicott field hockey team saw two student-athletes earn Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Athlete of the Week awards, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. Taylor Farrin (Danvers, Mass.) was named Defensive Player of the Week, while Sydney Poulin (Watertown, Mass.) was tabbed as Rookie of the Week.
Farrin recorded three shutouts in net for the Gulls as she recorded eight saves during a 6-0 victory over No. 13 MIT. She then made one stop against both Gordon (8-0 win) and Roger Williams (6-0 win). With the three shutouts, Farrin now has held opponents scoreless in eight games during her career.
Poulin recorded a team-leading ten points throughout the week (4 G, 2 A). She tallied two goals and two assists against No. 13 MIT and then went on to net a goal versus both Gordon and Roger Williams.
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott (5-1, 2-0 CCC) travels to Western New England on Tuesday, September 18 for a 7 PM contest.
