DUDLEY, Mass. - The Endicott field hockey team traveled to Nichols College on Tuesday evening and came away with a 4-0 shutout victory to remain perfect in conference play so far this season.
The Gulls took a 1-0 lead at the 12:33 mark when Blake Braman (Clinton, Conn.) scored on a rebound.
As time wound down in the first half, Addi Williams (Pittsfield, Maine) found the back of the net at 27:06 and 32:21, respectively, to give Endicott a 3-0 advantage heading into halftime.
In the second half, the Gulls continued to pressure offensively which paid off at the 59:11 mark when Jaylin Grabau (Lynnfield, Mass.) netted her seventh goal of the season.
The Nichols offense made a few pushes late in the game, but the Endicott defense stood strong to preserve the 4-0 win.
Taylor Farrin (Danvers, Mass.) recorded four saves throughout the contest to earn her fifth shutout of the season.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The Gulls held a 28-7 shot advantage throughout the contest.
- Endicott also had a 6-2 advantage on corner opportunities.
- Kristen McCarthy (Danvers, Mass.) tallied two assists on the night, while Sydney Poulin (Watertown, Mass.) was credited with one.
- Brooke Misbach (Guilford, Mass.) recorded 10 saves in the loss.

Endicott (8-2, 5-0 CCC) travels to the University of New England on Tuesday, October 2 for a 4 PM conference matchup. Nichols (4-3, 2-2 CCC) hosts Roger Williams on Friday, September 28 at 4 PM.
