CCC ATHLETES OF THE WEEK RELEASE
BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott field hockey team saw two student-athletes earn Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Athlete of the Week awards, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. Kristen McCarthy (Danvers, Mass.) was tabbed as Offensive Player of the Week, while Taylor Farrin (Danvers, Mass.) was named Defensive Player of the Week.
McCarthy recorded five goals and one assist for 11 points in two games played. She tallied two goals during a 4-2 victory over the University of New England on October 2 and then tallied a hat-trick and an assist during a 5-1 win over Gordon on October 6. McCarthy leads the CCC in assists (12) and is second in goals (15) and points (42). Nationally, she is ranked fourth in assists per game (.92).
Farrin went 2-0 in net for the Gulls during the week. She made six saves against UNE and four stops against Gordon to help Endicott improve to 7-0 in conference play. Farrin ended the week with a GAA of 1.50 and a save percentage of .769.

Endicott (10-3, 7-0 CCC) hosts Roger Williams on Wednesday, October 10 for a 7 PM conference matchup.
