Women’s Soccer Blanks Suffolk On Senior Day, 1-0

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's soccer team shut out Suffolk University, 1-0, on Senior Day at Hempstead Stadium.

Prior to the match, seniors Kelsey Hunter (Simi Valley, Calif.), Hannah Lederman (Natick, Mass.), Madeline Mucher (Andover, Mass.), and Chloe Waldron (Harwinton, Conn.) were all honored for their contributions towards the program and the Endicott community.

As for the contest, Riley Rischitelli (North Brookfield, Mass.) one-timed home a cross near the left post at the 35:59 mark that held true for the remainder of the matchup.

Morgan Hubert (Southington, Conn.) was credited with an assist as her cross from the right post was deflected by Suffolk's goalkeeper in a dangerous area for Rischitelli to clean up.

Meanwhile, Gulls' goalkeeper Rosalina Caliri (East Greenwich, R.I.) made five saves to register her second career shutout.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 2-0-0 all-time against Suffolk.
  • The Gulls are 5-1-1 at home this season.
  • Rischitelli is now tied for the team lead in goals (4).
  • Suffolk is 1-4-0 on the road in 2021.
