BEVERLY, Mass. - Following her individual efforts in the team's 1-1 draw against UMass Boston, junior keeper Jacqueline Ruggiero (Hyde Park, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Defensive Player of the Week.

In the Gulls' lone match for the week, Ruggiero put forth a career-best effort, making nine stops on 10 shots on goal, to help Endicott earn the 1-1 draw in double-overtime. The Hyde Park native made six shots in the first half alone before making three the rest of the way.

This is Ruggiero's first CCC Defensive Player of the Week honor of her career.

WHAT'S NEXT

Ruggiero and the Gulls will welcome the Lynx of Lesley to campus on Wednesday evening. The match is slated to start at 7:00 PM.
