NCAA TOURNAMENT: Endicott Takes On Top-Ranked Middlebury On Saturday (11 AM)

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott field hockey team travels to No. 1 nationally ranked Middlebury College for the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, November 13 with an 11 AM start time at Kohn Field. Here's a preview of Saturday's contest.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

This will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs, but not the first game played by Endicott at Middlebury's facility as the Gulls fell to No. 9 Kean University, 3-1, in their last NCAA Tournament Second Round appearance in 2019.
The Gulls have advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season.
Endicott knocked off Vassar College, 2-1, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Wednesday, November 10 [BOX SCORE | RECAP].
Behind a perfect regular season campaign, Middlebury (18-0) received a bye heading into the second round of the tourney.
Middlebury, who has only allowed 15 goals this season, enters this year's tournament as the three-time defending NCAA Division III champion.

WHAT'S NEXT

The winner of Saturday's game will face the winner of No. 14 SUNY New Paltz (17-2) and No. 7 Tufts University (14-4) on Sunday, November 14 at 1 PM.
