BEVERLY, MA - Endicott College beat Wentworth Institute of Technology (3-0) and Regis College (3-0) Saturday to extend its winning streak to six games.
The Gulls (13-8, 7-1 CCC) downed WIT 30-20, 30-20, and 30-21 and finished off Regis 30-20, 30-14 and 30-20.
Sophomore setter Meghan Hall (Santa Cruz, CA/Aptos) handed out 34 assists versus Wentworth and had 13 aces while middle hitter Sara Moore (Guilford, CT/Guilford) added 14 kills and one ace. Patty Mikan (Shelton, CT/St. Joseph's) chipped in 12 kills and one ace.
Endicott finished the sweep behind Casey Ward's (Monroe, CT/ Masuk) 21 assists and two aces. Freshman outside hitter Kaylee Krom (Strasburg, CO/Strasburg) added 15 kills, 13 digs, and four aces, while Katelyn Smith (Ballston Lake, NY/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) had three aces and 11 digs.
The Gulls return to action Tuesday when they host Bowdoin of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (7 pm).
