Women’s Track & Field Makes History At New England DIII Championships

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – For the first time in program history, the Endicott women's track and field team competed in the New England Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships this past weekend. The meet was hosted by Middlebury College at the New Balance Track in Virtue Field House.

The Gulls had five student-athletes compete in total at the DIII Championships including the quartet of Jordan Williams (Boxford, Mass.), Gates MacPherson (Thorold, Ontario), Alexa Flewelling (Peabody, Mass.), and Hevyn Pray (Rehoboth, Mass.) in the 4x200-meter relay and Nicole D'Angelo (Readfield, Maine) in the shot put.

On day one of the championships (Friday), Endicott's 4x200-meter relay set the indoor school record in the event with a time of 1:56.30.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, D'Angelo placed 15th overall in the shot put with a toss of 36-feet and 6.75-inches.

All five student-athletes will forever hold claim to being the first student-athletes in program history to compete at the New England Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships.
