MILTON, MA - The Endicott College women's tennis team won all three doubles contests and took five-of-six in singles competition as they downed Curry College, 8-1, on Saturday afternoon in Milton, MA.

With the exception of a hard-fought, 8-6, win by Nicole Breting (Woonsocket, RI/Mount St. Charles) and Lori Wardner (Wrentham, MA/King Philip Regional) in the No. 1 doubles match, the Gulls made it look easy in the teamed competition. Kate Fiske (Westerly, RI/Westerly) and Jenna Carme (Greenfield, MA/Greenfield) defeated Lauren Maloney (Feeding Hills, MA) and Kara Richardson (Pomfret, CT), 8-2; while Alyson Boehm (Lowell, MA/Lowell) and Geneive Sherman (York, ME) won their match, 8-3.

Breting opened singles play with a tough loss to Kaitlin Ross (East Freetown, MA), 6-4 and 6-0. From there, the Gulls rattled off five straight wins including a pair of 6-0, 6-2 wins by both Jenna Carme and Alyson Boehm en route to the 8-1 Endicott victory.

The Gulls will return to the courts on Wednesday afternoon as they host cross-town rival Gordon College at 3:30 PM on South Campus.
