MANSFIELD, Conn. – The Endicott women's soccer team played to a 0-0 double overtime tie on Wednesday night against Eastern Connecticut State in non-conference action at the Mansfield Athletic Complex.
Caroline Armbruster (Stowe, Vt.) highlighted play for the Gulls with a season-high nine saves, including three combined between both overtime sessions.
Endicott's best chance to find the game-winner in overtime came in the 97th minute when Sharlotte Pernice's (West Springfield, Mass.) header attempt was thwarted by Warriors' goalkeeper Kayla Labrecque (Westhampton, Mass.).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Armbruster now has three clean sheets on the season.
- Endicott is 1-0-1 in the all-time series versus Eastern Connecticut State, which dates back to October 7, 2015.
