Four Women's Basketball Student-Athletes Earn All-CCC Honors

2018 CCC ALL-CONFERENCE RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's basketball team saw four student-athletes named to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) All-CCC teams, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. Freshman Cassandra Stapelfeld (Brookline, N.H.) was named Rookie of the Year, while Gabriella Coppola (Watertown, Mass.), Hannah Kiernan (Wenham, Mass.), and Emily Pratt (Gardner, Mass.) were all named to the All-CCC Second Team. 

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

Cassandra Stapelfeld | Fr. | Guard | Brookline, N.H. 

Stapelfeld was named Rookie of the Year after being named Rookie of the Week for six weeks in a row during the season. She was third on the team in points per game with 10.6. Stapelfeld had 12 double-digit efforts and three games where she scored 20 or more points. She also led the league from beyond the arc with a 42.6 three-point field goal percentage. 

ALL-CCC SECOND TEAM

Gabriella Coppola | Sr. | Guard | Watertown, Mass. 

Coppola averaged 10.3 points per game for the Gulls this season and also led the team in assists per game with 4.9. Earlier in the season, she moved into second place on the all-time career assists list at Endicott and currently sits at 370 total assists. Coppola has recorded 12 double-digit scoring efforts throughout the season as well. 

Hannah Kiernan | Sr. | Guard | Wenham, Mass. 

Kiernan averaged 10.8 points per game throughout the season and also pulled down 3.6 rebounds per game. This is Kiernan's second All-CCC honor as she was named to the 2016-17 All-CCC Third Team. 

Emily Pratt | So. | Guard | Gardner, Mass. 

Pratt averaged 12 points per game for the Gulls and was also the team's leading rebounder with 5.7 rebounds per game. She scored double-digits in 15 games during the season and had 20 or more points in three different contests.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (14-4) earned the No. 3 seed in the CCC Tournament and will host Curry College (8-10) in the first round on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 7:30 p.m. in MacDonald Gymnasium.
