BEVERLY, MA. – Endicott women's basketball student-athlete Cassandra Stapelfeld (Brookline, N.H.) was named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday.
Stapelfeld averaged 16.5 points per game throughout two games played over the holiday break. She tallied a career and season-high 18 points against Brandeis on December 29 and then recorded a team-leading 15 points during an 84-49 conference victory over Wentworth on January 6. Stapelfeld did most of her scoring on three-pointers as she went 4-for-7 against the Judges and 3-for-4 against the Leopards from beyond the arc.
