KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Endicott roller hockey team bowed out in the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (NCRHA) Division III National Championship semifinal round to eventual champion Ohio State, 5-4, in overtime on Sunday evening.
Endicott went 3-2 overall in the tournament (1-2 in overtime) to advance to the semifinals.
After opening the tournament with a 2-1 overtime loss to Tampa, the Gulls rattled off victories against UC Santa Barbara (9-1), Ohio State (4-3 OT), and Temple (4-1) before falling to Ohio State the second time around for a chance at the program’s second national title.
The 2022 season also featured Endicott (20-4-0-3) winning its second Eastern College Roller Hockey Association (ECRHA) Division III Regional Championship on March 6.
