BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott Athletics strength and conditioning graduate assistant Leah Narkevic M'22 has accepted an assistant strength and conditioning position at the University of Virginia, effective immediately. Narkevic will work with the Cavaliers' women's golf, women's rowing, and women's volleyball programs.
"The strength and conditioning department is so incredibly proud of Coach Leah," said head strength & conditioning coach Jack Dustin. "Leah is a phenomenal coach who has made a huge impact on our department, but, more importantly, she is an even better person who will be thoroughly missed by all at Endicott. There's no doubt Leah is a rising star in the sports performance world and we cannot wait to cheer her on throughout her career."
During her time at Endicott, Narkevic programmed directly for and coached women's lacrosse, women's basketball, women's track and field, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's Volleyball programs, all club programs, and assisted Coach Dustin with all of his teams in the weight room/conditioning.
Narkevic came to Endicott from Penn State where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science (Applied Exercise and Health) in 2020.
As an undergraduate student, Narkevic served as the strength and conditioning intern with the women's volleyball and men's ice hockey teams. She also was a member of the club triathlon/cross country team, where she qualified for the USAT Worlds in 2020, and the workout chair for the club for two years.
Additionally, Narkevic was a FitWell personal trainer and cyclist instructor while at Penn State.
Narkevic's other internships included Robert Morris University, where she worked with the football, soccer, and volleyball programs, and RPP Baseball as a training and development intern.
