BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's volleyball team defeated Buffalo State, 3-0, on Friday night by scores of 25-14, 25-18, and 25-23 in non-conference action at MacDonald Gymnasium.
Dean Warner (Kinderhook, N.Y.) and Aidan Iacovelli (South Windsor, Conn.) tied for the team-high in kills with eight apiece (.533 | .316).
Jake Laborde (Brookline, N.H.) contributed six putaways and a team-best seven digs (10-11 serve receive), while Gavin Emenaker (Newton, Mass.) ran the majority of the attack via 14 assists.
Tonight's match only featured 10 ties (0-3-7) and five lead changes (0-2-3).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Buffalo State is in its inaugural season as a program.
- The Gulls posted a match-high .526 hitting percentage in the opening frame with Emenaker as the lone setter (10 assists total).
- Logan Pohl (Longmeadow, Mass.) held serve for nine straight attempts in the backend of the first set (16-10 to 23-11; two digs, two service aces) to help Endicott secure the eventual 25-14 victory.
- Pohl finished the match with three kills (.600), a pair of service aces, three digs, and one solo block.

Endicott (9-7) hosts SUNY Potsdam next Friday at 6 PM. Buffalo State (9-10) visits MIT tomorrow at 12 PM.
