BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott men's volleyball student-athlete Jake Laborde (Brookline, N.H.) has been named the New England Volleyball Conference (NEVC) Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league office.
Laborde led Endicott to a 3-2 week behind 63 kills (4.20 k/s), a .283 hitting percentage, a .947 serve receive percentage (75-79), and 16 digs (1.07).
He totaled 10 or more kills in four out of five matches, highlighted by a career-high 18-kill effort (.433) against No. 13 New Paltz.
The sophomore outside notched 53 of his 63 kills in the Fenway Classic tournament his past weekend, earning All-Tournament Team honors for his efforts.
