BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott men's volleyball student-athletes Aidan Iacovelli (South Windsor, Conn.) and Luke Madson (Nazareth, Pa.) have been named the New England Volleyball Conference (NEVC) Athlete and Rookie of the Week, respectively, as announced by the league office.

In a 3-0 week for the Gulls (2-0 NEVC), Iacovelli compiled 2.57 kills per set (3.60 in conference-only matches), a .469 hitting percentage, three service aces, 25 receptions, seven digs, and one solo block.

Versus Sage on Friday night, Iacovelli recorded 10 kills on 16 swings (.563). Then the following day against Bard had eight kills but added three services aces and four digs.

Madson registered 2.80 kills per set (3.00 in conference-only matches), a .233 hitting percentage, 24 receptions, and 15 digs during the undefeated week.

The freshman outside's best match of the week came against Bard (W, 3-0) as he notched career-highs for kills (8) and digs (7) in the victory.
