Men’s Tennis Falls At Division II Assumption, 7-0

WORCESTER, Mass. — The Endicott men's tennis team fell to Division II Assumption University, 7-0, on Tuesday afternoon on Assumption Tennis Courts. 

The Greyhounds took the opening point in doubles action and controlled the momentum for the rest of the match.

Meanwhile, the Gulls saw Eric Scalici (Essex Fells, N.J.) battle to a 2-6, 6-4, 7-10 setback at No. 6, while Conrad Kadel (Heidelberg, Germany) fought to a 4-6, 3-6 defeat in the top singles position. 

BEYOND THE BOX 

  • Assumption snapped a six-game losing streak this evening.
  • The Greyhounds are 4-1 at home this season. 
  • Scalici competed in the No. 6 slot for the first time this season.

Endicott (2-4) opens conference play at Gordon on Saturday, March 22 at 12:00 PM. Assumption (6-7) hosts Clark tomorrow at 3:30 PM.
