Men’s Tennis Takes Down Coast Guard, 7-0; Stankovic Records First Win As Gulls Head Coach

NEW LONDON, Conn. — The Endicott men's tennis team defeated Coast Guard, 7-0, on Saturday afternoon.

The Gulls picked up the doubles points via a No. 2 Conrad Kadel (Heidelberg, Germany) / Eric Scalici (Essex Fells, N.J) 6-0 triumph, while Ethan Hopman (Summit, N.J.) / Patrick Johnson (Beverly, Mass.) captured a 6-4 win at No. 3.

In singles action, No. 2 George Danes (Old Lyme, Conn.) (6-0, 6-2), No. 4 Aaron Terpko (Shrewsbury, Mass.) (6-2, 6-0), and No. 6 Brennan Drolet (North Smithfield, R.I.) (6-2, 6-0) picked up victories to secure the match.

The Gulls' lineup depth was on full display as Scalici (No. 5 | 6-4, 6-4), Hopman (No. 3 | 1-6, 6-1, 10-6), and Kadel (No. 1 | 6-4, 3-6, 10-8) rattled off triumphs.
