HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Taking on a Graceland (Iowa), a nationally-ranked NAIA school down at the Spring TennisFest Tournament, the Endicott men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss and fell to 1-1 on the week and 1-3 overall on the season.
The Gulls have Wednesday off and return to their spring break schedule on Thursday, March 21st against Ramapo starting at 12:00 pm.
Graceland swept through singles play without dropping a set, but the Gulls managed to put up a fight in the first and third doubles flights with a pair of 8-4 losses. The duos of Olivier Joggi (Stoneham, Mass.) and Jake Cohen (Barrington, R.I.) as well as Eric Gandrup (Sudbury, Mass.) and Evan Ross (Worcester, Mass.) represented Endicott at the #1 and #3 doubles positions, respectively.
