NEFC Academic All-Conference Released; 36 Gulls Recognized

NEFC Academic All-Conference Release

BEVERLY, Mass. - After first semester grades were finalized, the New England Football Conference (NEFC) announced their annual Academic All-Conference Teams which recognizes gridiron stars that have achieved a grade-point average of at least 3.0 with at least three semesters spent at one institution. Endicott set a program record with 36 student-athletes being named to the 2013 NEFC Academic All-Conference squad.

The Gulls finished second among the NEFC's eight institutions, trailing MIT who saw 44 of their players honored. The 35 honorees from Endicott make up 52.9% of the student-athletes eligible on the 2013 roster. Forty-three percent of the 35 NEFC Academic All-Conference have maintained a GPA above 3.25 and 20% have maintained higher than a 3.50.

Since the 2003 season, Endicott's first as a varsity program, the Gulls have rostered 242 Academic All-Conference players. Below is a listing of the 2013 honorees.
