Rushe Caps Off Awards Season with D3Football.com All-America Honors

2013 D3Football.com All-America Teams

BEVERLY, Mass. - Endicott senior kicker/punter Dylan Rushe (Palos Verdes, Calif.) wrapped up a highly-decorated 2013 postseason and career with D3Football.com All-America Second Team honors, marking the third time he has appeared on an all-american list this year.

Rushe had also been named Endicott's first AFCA All-America winner as the nation's top placekicker in 2013 as well as BSN All-American Second Team honors.  NEFC First Team, ECAC North All-Star, and NEFW All-New England recognition has also been part of his postseason hardware collection.

Rushe's excellence this season helped the Gulls to their second NEFC Championship, going 8-2 (7-1 NEFC) and ending the regular season with a 24-0 shutout of Salve Regina to claim the conference title and the league's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.  Endicott finished on the wrong side of a 24-0 score in their First Round match up with Rowan in the NCAAs, but the Gulls laid claim to their fourth straight championship (two NEFC, two ECAC bowl win) and second NCAA appearance.
