SENIOR SEND-OFF: Endicott Equestrian Program

SENIOR SEND-OFF: Endicott Equestrian Program

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott equestrian program put together a strong campaign headed into regionals before the rest of their season was canceled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The Gulls, who were led by seniors Kathleen Bolduc (Peabody, Mass.), Katie Denker (Woburn, Mass.), Brianna Gallagher (Plymouth, Mass.) Amber Vuilleumier (Clinton, Conn.), and Abbigale Gerrish (Greenland, N.H.), had one first-place finish, three third-place finishes, and two fourth-place finishes this season. More importantly, these four seniors' legacies will forever have an impact on the program athletically and academically. Here's what Endicott equestrian head coach Bethany Jones had to say about the entire senior class as a group and as individuals.

2020 Senior Class

"I have had the pleasure to spend many years with my seniors and watch them grow into the fine young adults they are now. They have made a huge impact on the equestrian program as well as on myself. I appreciate the time I have had to help them learn as much as I have learned from them."

Kathleen Bolduc

"Kati has been on the team for her entire college career. She played so many roles on the team but the main one was point keeper. She always gave all her time at every show to keep track of everyone's points, from our team as well as all the other teams. Kati has always been a team player and she will be missed."

Katie Denker

"Katie joined the team her junior year and has been extremely successful since. She dedicated herself to learning as much as possible. She also has always made time to be a teammate and spend as much time with the team as possible. We are going to miss her on the team!"

Brianna Gallagher

"Bri brings such humor and lightness to the team. She worked extremely hard to be successful from the moment she became a team member. She has always kept everyone smiling while always being hungry for more knowledge in the saddle. We are going to miss her smile, dedication, and happiness next year."

Amber Vuilleumier

"Amber has always had a passion for this team and her riding. She has been an amazing captain who has always been there for her teammates. She always wants to spend as much time in the saddle as she can and making herself better. Amber is a strong young woman who will be an asset to any team or company she joins. She will be sorely missed next year."

Abbigale Gerrish

"When Abbi transferred to Endicott, she was a tough one to figure out at first. Then, Abbi changed her outlook on the team and truly poured herself into being successful and the best she could be for her teammates. She has been one of the most amazing riders to watch grow and develop over the last three years. Abbi will be an asset to any team she joins after her time at Endicott. We will miss her."
